Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Israel Solís Iglesias (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the TallMax mobile application (the “App”). By using the App you agree to this Policy.
1. A note on what TallMax is
TallMax is a wellness and educational tool for optimizing habits (sleep, nutrition, activity, posture). It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2. Information we process
You do not create an account to use TallMax. We process the following:
- Profile & progress data you enter — such as age, sex, current and goal height, and your habit check-ins (sleep, nutrition, water, activity, posture) and height logs. This is stored locally on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, may be backed up through Apple’s iCloud under Apple’s terms.
- AI Coach conversations — when you use the AI coach, the messages you send, together with a short summary of your profile and estimate, are transmitted to our backend and to our AI provider (see “Third parties”) solely to generate a reply.
- A random installation identifier — a non-personal, randomly generated ID we send with coach requests to apply rate limits and prevent abuse. It is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to contact you.
- Subscription & purchase data — purchases are processed by Apple. We (and our subscription tools) receive purchase status and related technical identifiers, not your payment card details.
- Technical/log data — our servers automatically process limited data such as IP address and timestamps to operate the service, secure it, and prevent abuse.
3. How we use information
- To provide the App’s features (tracking, plans, guidance, AI coach).
- To operate, secure, and prevent abuse of our backend (rate limiting, fraud prevention).
- To manage subscriptions and entitlements.
- To respond to your support requests.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third parties
We share limited data with service providers only as needed to run the App:
- Apple — app distribution, in-app purchases, and (if enabled) iCloud backup.
- RevenueCat — to manage and validate subscriptions. Receives purchase and device-level technical identifiers. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — hosts our backend and delivers this website; processes network data (e.g. IP) to route and secure requests.
- DeepSeek — our AI provider. When you use the AI coach, your messages and a short profile summary are sent to DeepSeek’s API to generate a response, subject to DeepSeek’s own terms and privacy practices. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information in the chat.
5. International transfers
Some providers listed above may process data on servers outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
6. Data retention & deletion
Profile and progress data live on your device; deleting the App (or using “Reset” in the App) removes local data, and iCloud copies follow Apple’s retention. Coach messages are processed to generate replies and are not used by us to build a profile of you. To request deletion of any data associated with you, contact us at ultasdevelopment@gmail.com.
7. Children’s privacy
TallMax is a general-audience wellness app and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you are a teenager, please use TallMax with a parent or guardian’s awareness, and never restrict your eating or over-train — the App is designed to be safe and non-restrictive. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at ultasdevelopment@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, through the App.
